This motherfucker parked in front of my garage. If someone was moving in or out I wouldn’t be annoyed; however, it’s been sitting unattended like this for 3 hours. Before you say well maybe he’s out of hours or something, there is place where you can park a semi on the road in front of my apartment, move it there:

I wouldn’t bother giving them any leeway, the driver knows the truck is in a terrible spot. I’d give them an hour after knocking on the cab and leaving a note that’s says move your truck asshole.

We used to get trucks blocking us in all the time at my old office. I ran out of fucks to give for those assholes.

I’d be curious what would happen if you went, opened your garage door, and leaned on your horn for 60 seconds.

Is the driver sleeping in the cab such that he or she will respond quickly? If not, call the apartment management or the police . . . after all that is could be your only transportation, blocked.

Let me remember how I dealt with third party drivers at my first job. Had a sand hauler break down on my location and basically told him i didn’t give a fuck how much a tow costs, you need to move your truck.

Moving, probably. The main points to remember are to release the parking brake, and don’t touch the accelerator until the clutch is fully disengaged. The clutch won’t slip, and you’ll probably just end up snapping the driveshaft off. Also, the transmission is fully unsynchronized. I drove one briefly, and I still have a (suspended) class A license. It’s suspended because I don’t drive big trucks any more, and I haven’t renewed my medical card. I haven’t returned it to a class C license yet, because I kinda miss driving big trucks. They’re fun.
